Gateway: The Series

This series was inspired by the undeniable energy and movement expressed in John Beckley's work. His his bold and unapologetic approach has become a foundation in my own creative process.

Gateway: The Series is my view of opposite seasons at their peak sharing space on canvas. Through alternating application techniques, layers of color and texture provide depth and complexity. Intensity that is never meant to meet in nature compete for best in show.

All seasons take their turn showcasing the strength required to contain the inevitable changes to come.
